The Children’s Circle staff is taking every precaution available to keep children, families and staff safe and healthy. Our preschool is following federal, state and local government guidelines, as well as, MPUMC guidelines, to ensure the health and safety of your child while in our care. These measures include screenings, handwashing, modified scheduling, modified drop-off and pick up procedure and extensive disinfecting of common areas and frequently touched surfaces. There may be other measures added as the situation warrants.
Your child will not be able to attend The Children’s Circle if showing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 (see below). This list may change as we learn more about the virus.
Your child will be sent home if he/she presents any of the symptoms listed below while at school. Your child will not be readmitted to school until he/she is symptom free without medication for 72 hours. As per our normal illness policies, families are expected to continue regular tuition payments in order to maintain placement.
If you child has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has been exposed to someone with COVID-19, he/she should be quarantined at home for 10-14 days (per the COVID-19 screening chart).
Symptoms of Covid-19 include:
- Fever (100.4 or higher)
- Cough
- Shortness of breath
- Loss of taste or smell
Additional symptoms include cold-like symptoms, such as:
- Congestion
- Runny nose
- Sore throat
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Body aches
- Chills
Working in partnership with families to achieve a safe school environment, The Children’s Circle staff will work hard to keep children, families and staff healthy and safe. Please do the same by following best practices and adhering to the recommended guidelines from government and research organizations. We also rely on you to report all illnesses to the preschool office as soon as possible.
*I agree to adhere to all rules and guidelines set forth by The Children’s Circle and MPUMC. Our family understands that failure to adhere to these rules and guidelines is ground for dismissal from preschool without a refund of tuition/fees.
*This agreement also indicates that I release, hold harmless and exonerate The Children’s Circle and MPUMC from any liability if my child becomes ill or is diagnosed with COVID-19.
If you do not agree to these terms, your child will not be allowed to attend The Children’s Circle during the 2020-2021 school year.
